Hope this helps :)

  • How long will I be on crutches for?

  • Is there silkair service direct from melbourne to trivandrum?

Best answer: Silkair only fly short haul routes in Asia -- nothing over 4 or so hours. You'd have to fly Singapore Airlines (who own Silkair) from Melbourne and connect in Singapore to the Silkair flight.

  • I have a question about my short arm plaster cast?

Best answer: There should be three layers - the stockinette (like a sock that they put on your arm), then the padding (which goes on like a bandage) then the actual plaster on the top... The padding is easy to mistake for other things - they wrap it like bandages/plaster...

If it's not easily removable then I'd recommend making a decent sized, quite deep, slashing sort of cut along the underside, then allowing it to flow out over your arm until you can get it off... Shouldn't be too hard so long as the knife you use is really sharp - and don't use a bread knife because you just get these rips in the skin of the wrist band and it's just not nice...

  • Do you always hear a crack sounds if you fracture your wrist?

Best answer: No, not always. Generally there will be a crack if there is some sort of impact that snaps the bone (ie if you fall onto your arm and it snaps, or a madman hits whacks you with a baseball bat), but some fractures are only small, or develop over a longer period of time. In these cases, there's no crack. :)

  • If I fractured my arm, can I play guitar?

Best answer: No details!! Just pick up your guitar and see for yourself! If you're able to, then there wouldn't be any major concerns medically speaking, so long as you don't push through pain to play.

Best answer: Perfectly normal. The retainer will bring all the teeth back into the positions they were in when your braces came off over the next few weeks (might hurt a bit while this happens). :)

Just bring $200-300 spending money (I doubt you'll spend it all, since your family will pay for some things), unless you intend to go shopping etc. :)

  • How long should some one with broken bone in elbow stay off work?

Best answer: If she's just on the floor etc then it shouldn't be too long, maybe a week or so, but if there's any lifting, moving stock etc then wait until it's healed... So long as they don't have to use the arm then I guess it's OK. Hope this helps :)
