• I can't get into my Verizon account. Security code?

I can't remember my password I guess (even though I've used the same one for over a decade) and when I request to make a new one, I asks for a security code. No where in my texts or emails have I gotten a security code. I need to get into this account before midnight

  • Best heavy equipment operator jobs?

I'm just curious as to what jobs my fellow operators have worked that they enjoyed and were paid well. Like I worked on a landfill (in michigan) for a while and I made nearly $80,000 and it was really laid back and never boring.

  • Girls: do you like facial hair on men?

As a male myself, I don't really care to have it and don't like how it feels. ON THE FLIP SIDE: I also think it can say "I dont give a ****, screw you" and it makes guys look more distinguished so long as it's taken care of. I definitely don't care for the baby face look either. I'm just torn and curious what women TRULY think about it?

I've had my eye on one girl in particular who I always kind of thought had a thing for me in high school wven though we were very different (she was more "popular" or whatever and I was silent, played football and was notorious for getting into fights and ****) now, half a decade later I still run into her all the time at random bars... show more

We still don't directly talk a whole lot, but sometimes it's like she makes reasons up to come talk to us and I can think of a few times where she'd say my name and laugh when I'd say something to a bartender or whatever and she's said that I smell really good recently. I kmow that sounds stupud and theres more to it, i prpmise. At the same time, she always seemed like that type that doesn't really respond well to guys coming into her... Like once she knows you're into her, she doesn't really care anymore. I feel like it's such a fragile thing we have going on and I want so badly to Just tell her how it is but at the same time i feel like it'll just make things weird between us.

  • New job position operating a loader--any advice?

I was granted the opportunity to become a heavy equipment operator for my company and have little training beyond volvo dirt trucks and hi-los, and they're starting me on a loader. I'll be primarily moving snow over the season. Anything is appreciated!

I personally don't have a problem with the concept, but I'm asking because I noticed that it's prevalent in many of the more recent shows--off the top of my head, I can think of Black Sails, Shameless, Goliath, and obviously Transparent--and it all seems SUPER forced and out of place. It really detracts from the production in my opinion and it's such a shame. I mean, I really don't give a **** if a character is gay or whatever--I'm aware of what era we're in--but as a straight male, I can't help but express how much I don't want to see two irrelevant male characters screwing in outlandish scenarios twice an episode, and I dont think anyone does. The worst part is, it's like the producers had everything all done and tben they decided to go back and throw in a bunch of unthoughtful, ridiculous LGBT **** that seems almost offensive to the community. One of my best friends is gay and he thinks it's obnoxious too. I'd be curious to hear what you guys think?

  • Why do girls turn into a different person after breakup?

Totally out of character.

I''m not worried about having the will to do it, I'm just worried about the possible side effects. I noticed that I start to feel faint after 2-3 days sober and that makes me a little nervous. I don't want to make a huge spectacle out of it and get my family involved or going to AA or whatever, I just want to know if it's safe for me to do on my own. Like I said, I know I can.

Growing up, my mom and I fought tooth and almost every day and it made my life a living hell. I barely graduated high school because my mom would always come home and take her frustrations out on me as the oldest in a divorce family, and anything I did to mitigate the issue almost always ended up with me being "thrown out" for the night where I would just walk the streets or to my dads house a few miles away--rain, sleet or snow. I'm really disgusted by hosting this little pity party right now but adolescence was a constant bombardment of condescending and mean spirited comments and incessant pecking, berating, and unthoughtful punishments that impacted my school work and even my self esteem--though I f*cking hate to say that. I was to young to deal with it all responsibly. She eventually got a new boyfriend who I still don't know much about or trust, and she threw me out before I even graduated high school. I didn't go to my graduation because my truck that I was forced to live out of was impounded the night before for not having been registered; I couldn't afford it because my mom wouldn't put the policy in her name so my rate wouldn't be through the roof. Long story short, I managed to scrape out a decent life thru the enlisting in the USMC, during which I didn't talk to my mom and she didn't reach out to me. We've been spending more time together recently just to salvage something I guess and be civil but I officially decided that I don't wish to. Am I alone?

Couple days later she's seen with some neo-hippy douche bag that loves with his mom. That's been my dating experience for like half a decade.

  • Received USMC MOS - Infantry - but I don't know exact MOS?

I received Infantry but I'm not sure which section of the infantry I am going to be in (i.e. LAV Crew, Assault, Machine Gunner, etc)... Is this normal? Are infantry marines trained in all fields of the infantry and just placed where the USMC needs them?
