I personally don't have a problem with the concept, but I'm asking because I noticed that it's prevalent in many of the more recent shows--off the top of my head, I can think of Black Sails, Shameless, Goliath, and obviously Transparent--and it all seems SUPER forced and out of place. It really detracts from the production in my opinion and it's such a shame. I mean, I really don't give a **** if a character is gay or whatever--I'm aware of what era we're in--but as a straight male, I can't help but express how much I don't want to see two irrelevant male characters screwing in outlandish scenarios twice an episode, and I dont think anyone does. The worst part is, it's like the producers had everything all done and tben they decided to go back and throw in a bunch of unthoughtful, ridiculous LGBT **** that seems almost offensive to the community. One of my best friends is gay and he thinks it's obnoxious too. I'd be curious to hear what you guys think?
