• What are the pros and cons of glass cutting boards?

    It seems to me that the TV chefs tend to use wood or acrylic cutting boards, and never discuss or use glass. My boyfriend's mother has a glass board and I love to use it, especially for cutting or preparing meat, as I feel I can really get it clean afterwards. But I don't have one at home and I'm wondering if I should spend the money... show more

  • How can I remove the smell of cigarette smoke from a coat that cannot be dry cleaned?

    The coat is a combination of faux fur and faux leather and really can't be dry cleaned or put in the washing machine. I have already sprayed it with Febreeze and run it through the dryer on air dry several times. It smells considerably better now than when it was given to me, but it still has that awful, telltale odor. I am a non-smoker as are most of my friends, so this is very noticable. Any other suggestions?
