  • Have any of you ever experienced something like this before? Is it normal (DREAMS)?

Since I was in high-school, I've been having dreams where fully-formed songs are playing in the background. They're not old songs or songs I've ever heard before in my life (I have incredible memory when it comes to lyrics and melodies and remember songs I've only heard once in my life). They're not old songs or songs I've ever heard before in my life (I have incredible memory when it comes to lyrics and melodies and remember songs I've only heard once in my life). They're not just random, stupid songs either, they're all songs I'd literally listen to myself, and they range from cheesy 90 s boyband pop, reggae-hiphop, to songs that sound like classic Aussie hits. I've even had a dream about Fleetwood Mac's 'Tusk'. It was literally my own interpretation of it though and sounded nothing like the song, except for being a little outside the box as the song is itself. I wake up singing along to the music playing in my head, open up Photo Booth, and try and sing as much as I remember... but 20 minutes later it's completely gone. It's so frustrating because I have this incredible talent (and the only one!) that I can only access when I'm unconscious or falling asleep. I can't even comprehend how my brain is able to for complete songs with words and everything- songs that sound like classics- like the stuff I love to listen to. I just wish there were a way to access this while I'm awake because I could really use it to my advantage, and at the very least, create some awesome music that I can listen to!

  • Is it possible for a person who is 'brain dead' to regain brain function if kept alive by a machine?

For example, if a person has a heart attack and their brain cells start to die, can't they 'repopulate' once blood is flowing through the body again? Even if it's just a few cells- can't they give rise to more living cells? What about using stem cells? I'm sorry, I know very little about biology. Just curious. Thanks!

  • Song with lyrics "do anything/gonna do anything for love"- I swear it's Dire Straits?

It's NOT Meat Loaf! It's on the quieter side, very mellow. I heard it a lot on the radio when I was little. In my head, it sounds exactly like Mark Knopfler. The instrumentation is very much like Dire Straits, too. There's that country guitar sound in the background and then some kind of electric guitar playing over the top. Sorry, that's all I can offer...

  • Is it normal to have pain in your gums (the entire side) when your wisdom teeth are coming through?

The pain feels exactly like when I used to get my braces tightened. My teeth feel like they're crowding and moving as my wisdom teeth push through and it's really painful. I have some money available to buy myself a truck, some appliances/cookers/machines, van art etc. It's only something I'm thinking about at the moment as I am a uni student and busy right now. But if that fails, then I need more options. I've always liked the idea of running my own vegan/health food cafe or restaurant. People these days seem to be more interested in healthy foods and I think a food truck that caters to health-conscious or vegan customers could wheel in more money. I'm not talking about boring salads and wheatgrass shots, I'm talking about burgers, shakes, muffins, juices, raw meals, burritos etc. that use healthier, quality ingredients rather than fat-laden, artery-clogging rubbish that is full of chemicals. I think it might make things easier financially if I had my own truck rather than renting a shop or something. That being said, I'm not very business minded, so I'd be starting from the ground up. Do you think this is an attainable goal for a 23 year-old woman to look into? I live in Western Australia if that makes any difference...
