• Looking for vegan and toxin free hair styling serums/creams and finishing sprays. Any recommendations?

I just want something to use in my damp hair before blow drying (hot) to get it looking straighter and shinier. I sometimes follow blowdrying with straightening too to make my hair sleeker. I'm also looking for a lightweight spray I can use while straightening or after to make my hair feel light and shiny. Do you have any recommendations? I... show more

  • Does anyone know this alternative/punk song (female singer)?

These are the only lyrics I can recall: "Don't spar with me now baby you never know what you/you'll see" "They're all watching you" "Yeah yeah yeah yeah" It sounds to me like it's from the 90's, but I'm really not sure. • Looking for a classic rock song with the lyrics "Turn to me, turn to me". Sounds just like Robert Plant/Led Zeppelin?

The 'turn to me' bit sounds like the chorus. It's only said twice as I quoted, and then the rest of the chorus is other lyrics. It's a slower-paced song with guitars and slightly edgy drums. It's the kind of song that, although not fast and loud, makes you want to drum your hands on your lap. Sorry, I can't remember much... show more

There was a man harmonising the lead singer (I actually think it's the same person). And yeah, I immediately typed in the lyrics with 'Led Zeppelin' but I can't seem to find it... Also, the instrumentation reminds me a bit of 'Sweet Jane' by The Velvet Underground. It's got that same edge to it.

  • What does it mean when your ear hurts when you breathe in?

The deeper I breathe in, the more it hurts. It's the kind of pain like when you have an ear infection, but nowhere near as painful. Just irritating and a little sore. My ear also feels full, but not so much like there's water filled in it, but as if my eustachian tubes are inflamed or something.

  • Looking for a single unit speaker with subwoofer (good bass) that I can use in my bedroom. Any recommendations?

I've currently got a cheap THX speaker set with a subwoofer and it (in my opinion) sounds better than the single speakers I've seen at the tech stores (Sony Bass for example). I just want a single standing unit as I'm fixing my room up and it will look too cluttered having a big subwoofer on the ground as well as two random speakers. I... show more

I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount, but the sound quality is important to me. I just want something for my bedroom for listening to music. I like a full sound, rich sound and a good bass. I listen to all sorts of music, but mostly classics. I'd really appreciate if you could give me some recommendations as I don't know much about speakers. Thanks!

  • Should I also paint my ceiling, or leave it white?

I have attached a photo of how I'd like my bedroom to look once it's been repainted. I'm going to buy some checked vinyl flooring, paint the walls a light mint green, borders black, and the doors are going to be an orang-red. I will also add that I'm buying a loft bed which is all white, so maybe it will balance the colours out?

  • Is it normal for sunflower seed shells to have a chemical-like taste?

I buy mine from the Asian store near my house because they're quite cheap. I've never had unpeeled sunflower seeds before, so I'm not sure if it's normal for the shells to have this taste. I don't think the sunflower heads are generally sprayed anyway, but I just thought I'd ask because I do eat quite a lot and I don't... show more

  • Is there any point in me enrolling in a dental technician course (Australia)?

I live in Western Australia, so I doubt there's all that much demand for dental technicians as there are for nurses or early childhood educators. Early childhood interests me, but there's not much room to move up if you're working in a childcare centre. Early childhood interests me, but there's not much room to move up if you're working in a childcare centre. Dental technology is the only other thing that seems to interest me, but I don't know if it's worth the effort. I wouldn't mind working in a quiet environment, being creative, and doing a lot of hands-on work. I'm just wondering if, once qualified, I'll even be able to find a job where I live. I've also heard that dentists in Australia are looking to other countries to produce veneers/dentures etc. for Australian clients as the material regulations suck here so no one wants what we have to offer. I'm 24 years old and have no idea what to do with my life. Does anyone here have any advice? Any of you familiar with this industry? Thank you!

  • What is the most PSYCHIC experience you've ever had (as in, you predicted/experienced something personally)?

The most psychic experience I've had is predicting my mother's death. I was always protective of her- even as a baby. I always felt like I'd lose her and I was helpless to do anything about it. As I got older, I feared her driving in her car. I didn't have an issue with her getting on a plane and going to another country, but when it... show more

I didn't have an issue with her getting on a plane and going to another country, but when it came to her driving, I wouldn't be able to feel at ease until she made it back home. I always made sure the last things I said to her before she drove somewhere were, "I love you," and "drive safe." I started having dreams about her dying. One in particular, I was at school painting and the painting in front of me was of the setting where my mother 'died'. It was a road with tall trees on either side. In my dream, my teacher was standing by me looking at the picture and she told me that my mum had taken the "wrong road." The last time I saw my mum was when she dropped me off at school before driving a few hours to spend a few days with her boyfriend and his parents. The second she pulled up at the school and told me to go, I went into a sudden panic and didn't want to leave. I felt like if I let her go, she wouldn't come back. I even went as far as telling her she's going to die and if she wants to go then at least take me with her. (cont...)
