  • Is it ok to cry to coworkers when customer was rude?

Best answer: No - it's not. If you're old enough to work, you should be old enough to behave like a normal adult. That customer was NOT rude to you. Why even mention it to your supervisor? And why on earth would you burst into tears? It's not 'hurtful' at all.
Your supervisor was quite right to brush it off and tell you not to take it personally.
And you really expected her to give you some candy? What are you - 10 years old?

I'm amazed that your coworker didn't laugh her socks off when you told her!
As for the other coworker - you asked her to what??? To be your momma? You really have got a lot of growing up to do! She is not your momma. She's a colleague - and you need to start behaving like a responsible, rational adult, not a baby.

You shouldn't cry at work at all.

    I really hope you're trolling!

Today I realised that I have accidentally put my date of birth in the date box rather than the date that I signed it. It was a silly mistake I know, but is it a big deal? I have emailed the recruiter and informed them of the mistake.

  • -help- I'm confused?

Best answer: Obviously you will discuss this with the store, so don't worry about it now. They can use price tags that have barcodes on them if they want barcoding.

They'll decide on the retail price they want to charge, and that's what the barcode will indicate.

So I got a call from an employer (Gate) around 2 weeks ago. I went in for the interview and the manager liked me. She had me go do a drug test, which I was confident I would pass, as I have quit on marijuana for roughly 30 days, give or take 5 days. After completing the drug screen, she went ahead and had me fill out paper work, set me up for orientation in 2 weeks time amd training right after. I just recieved a call from the lab roughly 3 days after stating that I tested positive for marijuana. I awaited a phone call from my future employer to inform me I didn't pass the test and therefore she couldn't hire me. It's been a day now, almost two and I have recieved no phone call. Do I still have the job, or is the employer not required to inform me they do not want my services anymore? I have other job opportunities I just don't like being kept in the dark. I tried calling but the manager had already left for the day.

I am a scorpio female so I am generally very quiet and shy and I don't let anyone know if I like them that way. I am generally good at this I keep a good rbf on my face no one dares bother me. I am left to my own devices. Well I had a specific crush on a guy back in October when he started working here. I had an instant lustful interest in him. It's just one of my instinctual things. Well it was OK at first because I just ignored his existence very easy I don't work directly with any coworker plus I generally worked in a different department. I saw him sometimes I'd clean my mind quickly and move on. The problem was when I got out of the department for while like a month maybe less I worked in the same department and then he'd try to talk to me look at me randomly weirdly try to get my attention etc.. of course I didn't avoid it either became more bold actually less shy. Well now I got back into working in a whole different department again but now I'm having a hard time getting back to my normal situation because I still see him on occasion and I can't just ignore him since I used to talk to him more regularly. But acknowledging just makes me overly weak I kind of feel like I melt a bit if I talk to him too long or look at him too long. I can't really find myself not looking at him now because he's been around too much. So I don't know how to go back to just avoiding him at this point?

If I see anything other than a wedding band on a guy in this situation (and I wear jewelry...), I probably wouldn't hire them and will explain why.

Someone wearing flashy jewelry will never earn enough as a teller to afford flashy jewelry. So, they will either look to find a better job once trained (wasting money for the bank) or they might look to do something questionable if not flat out illegal. The jewelry itself isn't the point, its what the jewelry means with regard to your character.
