  • Do you rage at Corporate greed & amorality..?

Best answer: No. I'm not the one they have to answer to. Says Ecclesiastes 5:10: “A mere lover of silver will not be satisfied with silver, neither any lover of wealth with income.” Equally, “a mere lover” of power, possessions, or sex will never be satisfied, however much he gets.

  • BBC touted banks line 'closing branches as more go on-line'.Is it false reson?Should banks be made to give closed branches to communities?

Best answer: The reason is the banks can make more money by closing branches. So it's purely a business decision. Online banking is convenient and more customers are doing it. Why do you wish to penalise banks? They are a business not a charity. Your suggestion has Communistic undertones.

  • Does the USPS deliver large packages and small packages at different times?

I ordered a coffee machine online and some coffee. According to Amazon, both are supposed to arrive today in the mail. My mailman came and delivered the coffee with my mail, which I assume is a smaller package than my coffee machine, which hasn’t arrived yet. Is that normal or has there been a mistake?

  • UPS, FEDEX OR USPS , which is the best shipping service?

Best answer: I've found USPS to be the cheapest for 2-3 day delivery regardless of the size of the box or its weight. Their tracking is not as reliable as UPS, but at half the cost, I'm good with that.

Best answer: For the title question, no, they won't email you when your order ships.

I've ordered things from IKEA before. It's true ~ they don't provide tracking numbers. My best guess is that they must save money by not having to buy and operate the tracking system software, etc.

I've always received my orders. I never know what day they are going to be arriving, but they have always arrived. Hence, I have no qualms about ordering from them and plan to do so again when the need arises. (Not sure if this matters, but in my case, here in downtown Seattle, IKEA has used UPS for the shipping every time.)

It is indeed odd that they don't use tracking numbers like virtually all other online retailers though. The original idea of IKEA was to have a big warehouse type of store where the consumers came and bought stuff for low amounts of money and took it home themselves. I think they somewhat reluctantly starting doing online sales. Perhaps, if they didn't do online selling, their revenue numbers would have really begun to suffer.

  • Why doesnt Royal Mail compensate the sender for the postage cost of the letters and parcels they lose?

Best answer: They should do. Check your receipts for web addresses to follow. They sometimes ask how are they are doing, so you will have that golden opportunity to tell them
