  • Are cats allowed to go to the dentist with us?

Best answer: its up to the dentist. call and ask them. it should be ok unless they are allergic or something. just say you have an intense fear and your cat would make you feel better.

  • Should I get my upper wisdom teeth removed under iv sedation?

Best answer: Wisdom teeth canNOT be inside sinuses, that is completely impossible! And for the umpteenth time, local anesthesia ALONE is GOOD ENOUGH for ANY type of wisdom teeth surgery. ONLY people with SEVERE PHOBIAS should be sedated!

  • Should I get my tonsils removed because of tonsil stones?

Best answer: You should really try not to have your tonsils removed because you get more throat infections if you do and it's going to give you grief when you get old. It might be necessary to remove them if nothing works but seek other treatment first and try everything first before going under the knife.

  • I noticed a small 'hole' on the biting part of one of my lower incisives. Is that tooth naturally like that or has something happened?

It doesn't cause any pain at all. It doesn't really look like a chip, I don't know if I can call it a 'hole.' It looks like a hole, like some piece of enamel is missing but it's not like a chip, more like a hole. The tooth is still all white. Dentin doesn't show. I don't remember... show more

I don't remember biting on anything hard or something like that. it's very hard to notice though. I take the greatest care of my teeth so I doubt very much it's a hygiene issue. Is there something to do to improve its appearance or is it better to leave it that way? Is it naturally like that? It's twin tooth doesn't look the same.

  • Would you rather stay with a mouth full of cavities and broken teeth or get them all removed for dental implants?

My friend's dentist says he should get them all taken out and get dental implants. I don't think he should. What do you think? He's only 24 years old.

  • How do you take out invisalign in public places?

Like at a restaurant, movie theater, etc. I wouldn't say they are hard to take out, but it would be easier to leave them in. To take them out, I need a mirror and running water.

Okay, so im 17 and im realizing this is an major issue that can negatively impact my life. So I mouth breathe, and It's so hard to stop, whenever i try to breathe through my nose at night I feel like im not getting enough oxygen so i just end up breathing through my mouth. I heard that mouth breathing causes facial deformities. I dont think my face is deformed by this but the symtpons has done the following: -longer face -Crooked teeth -chapped/dry lips Note: Tho i kinda have buck teeth not crooked teeth :P When I saw these symtons im like **** so this is real....Im so scared like Im getting braces soon but i dont want my face to be deformed. I dont remember when i started this "habit" or whatever. I do remember i did sleep through my nose at night when i was younger because I remember buying those nose inhalers that help you breathe through your nose at night. So yeah. However though right now i can breathe through my nose, it's not stuffed or anything. But for some reason im just not getting enogh Oxygen like i can do with my mouth Please give me advice. Thank you :(

  • What's it like getting a root canal?

Best answer: It is not that bad at all, it's more boring than painful. They numb your mouth (the needle literally doesn't hurt that bad, it feels like someone is poking your gum with a toothpick) and basically you can't feel anything after that at all, you just sit there for a while.
