I was going to get each of them these personalized bears with their wedding "title" on the shirt. I think the title "Guestbook attendant" sounds really lame for girls that are 8 and 10.. Any better suggestions? I attached a picture of the bears we are getting so you can kind of see what I mean. Thank you!

If you do that, you deprive a lot of people who have waited your entire lives to see you get married, and that will hurt them. There are more people than you realize, too.

A reception is a get-together that follows a ceremony. It isn't a party you have when you "get back". A party to celebrate your wedding is likely to make people think they should bring you a gift- and that isn't proper if they weren't invited to your wedding.

You would be better off having a wedding at home with the people who love you, and then a honeymoon in France. If your fiancee wants a beautiful dress and a wedding, that is what she should have. Getting married in a foreign country may sound exotic, but not only will you hurt a lot of people at home, you need to find out what you would need to be married there.

It might not be that easy. At least one of you needs to have lived therefor at least 30 days before the wedding:

  • Wedding band, wedding ring, what s the difference.?

I m a 25 year old guy trying to settle down with my boyfriend I ve known for 3 years. We have looked at wedding bands and I want to propose to him in the coming year. What rings do i need? One for me and one for him and one for when I propose? How does this work with two men. I rather not mess this up.

  • Was it wrong for me to buy myself a second engagement ring?

Best answer: It sounds as if they were waiting for an excuse to pounce on you. Beware. He should be the one to deal with them - don't you. And have the ring checked and wear it at least until you get married. You were trying to be respectful and not ruin a family heirloom- they're looking for a reason to go after you.... show more

    Beware.

And have the ring checked and wear it at least until you get married.
You were trying to be respectful and not ruin a family heirloom- they're looking for a reason to go after you. Don't give them one.
And in the meantime, think about how this is going to be later on, and watch how your fiance handles it. If he can't or won't stand up for you, it's time to reconsider. Blood is indeed thicker than water, and he is one of them. And they clearly liked his ex. This isn't about you, but you will be the target, nonetheless.

  • Is a cubic zirconia engagement ring real or fake?

    Best answer: Context?

The stone is a "fake" diamond.

The stone is "real" in the sense that it exists.

The engagement ring is "real" because it's a ring being used to symbolize an engagement agreement - an engagement ring may be made of any kind of stone or metal, or have no stones at all.

  • Is it wrong to not want to get married until my fiancé stops being so involved with his ex wife?

"Is it wrong to want to wait until he’s less involved with her?" Not wrong at all. But you might as well break up... show more
