I have a question about a tenants right, renting a home. I'm located in AZ and rented the 2nd story of a home. The lady I rented it from lives upstairs. I have my own living quarters so there is no reason for her to be down in my part of the house. She is evicting me from the home, I have to out by the end of June. But, we have no rentals agreement, after she said she was going to get one. She told me she is going to fix the window in my kitchen because it leaks, hasn't been fixed. She told me I get a spot to park my vehicle in the garage, haven't been able too. She comes into my part of the house with notifying me. I told her my dishwasher stopped working, she blamed it on me saying," I don't rinse of my dishes before I put it in the dishwasher." Which I do rinse them off. And now she told me in person that I need to be out by the end of june because "the house wasn't clean enough." What legal action should I take, or should I not even take action? Should I pay rent for the month of June?

  • Can my Landlord refuse to let me install AC?

Best answer: Yes you can do that so your best bet is to move somewhere else I know that sounds like an easy answer but I was in the situation like that once and moving somewhere else was the best thing I ever did even though it didn't seem like it at the moment

Best answer: Normally a mortgage company would only be affiliated with an insurance company , the same as they are affiliated with an appraisal company, a title company or escrow company or a home inspection company.

These type companies help facilitate the closing of the sale transaction.Over time each company become able to rely on the services produced by each other and would form a close business relationship.

You are under no obligations to use any of these firms. You are able to secure the services of any other service provider you would want to use. If you decide to use a different appraiser, the appraiser you decide to use must be licensed in the state, where you are purchasing the house and on the approved list of appraisers.

You have to make a decision about this insurance sales person

#1. Sit down and listen to his pitch and see if you are able to financially benefit by using his services.

#2. Tell this salesman, he is pestering, harassing and annoying you. You are not interested in his services and to stop calling you immediately.

You have to be more assertive toward salesmen. They are taught to accept no at least 3-4 times before they would no longer bother you in an attempt to get you to purchase or use their services.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

In light of the recent case of the parents to had to literally sue to evict their 30 year old son from their house my husband has jumped on the bandwagon. My 21 and 23 year old sons, from my first marriage, still live with us. The 23 year old can't find a job because of his criminal record. He had to move back in with us last year because he and his granddad had an argument and my dad kicked him out on the street. He had a job but lost it because he was taking too many days off because of his court dates. He's now sleeping on our sofa. My 21 year old graduated college a few years ago with an associates degree and he can't seem to find a good job. He spends most of the week at his girlfriend's parent's house but comes home a couple nights a week. He does have a job but it really isn't enough for him to do much. His car broke down and he had to junk it so his girlfriend's parents bought an old car for him and he's now paying them back My husband assessed each of them a monthly rent of $200 and they have a hard time paying for that. The other day my husband text both of them to see if they had paid their monthly rent and knowing that the oldest hadn't, my youngest said that he had paid $100 of it and would have the rest next week. My husband then says that the month is almost over and you haven't even paid your rent for the month. He told both of them that they had until June 8th to have their $200 paid or he would give both of them a 30 day notice.

I rented a room from a crazy lady in March 2018 (didn’t know this until afterwards). She does not live in the house. Her son in law was living there until he decided that he couldn’t take her craziness anymore. After that, she started coming over into the house every day, even waking me up while I was taking a nap just to talk to me. The lease says that I rent the entire house and it also says that she has to give me a 24 hour notice before entering and give me a valid reason. She is trying to evict me because I was getting very tired of the harassment and called the cops when she would show up out of the blue. I also set up an alarm system (and no she did not ask for the code) I have searched EVERYWHERE searching for laws on how often your landlord can come into the house of a room you are renting just to annoy and talk to you. I asked her to please stop but it fell on crazy deaf ears. What do I do????
