I'm taking my second science class with this professor and he is really making it roo diffecult for us. i do well in all my classes in general. i always get an A or a B. the syllabus for the class is 15 pages. we take an online quiz and an in class assignment every week and yet i can't figure out why he keep giving me 7,6,4,6 in all the assignment and quizzes. it's not me because the in class assignments we work on them in groups of two or three. i thought i qas lucky as he said that all the quizzes and tests Will be taken online except for the final. ok still I'm not doing well in the quizzes, he give us 10 questions, 8 multiple choice and 2 fill tbe blanks and only 10 minutes to answer them. if you use Google then a zero for the whole quiz. me and two other students decide to take the first exam together so three of us gonna work on each test using our minds, and the book. i got 48/100 the other student got 43/100 and the last one refuses to tell us his grade. what should i do?

Best answer: Lots of times, with and without Mom's permission. One of the few times I ditched class my dean caught me. He showed up in one of my later classes and chewed me out in front of everyone. Mom was good for calling us in, especially for going to the St. Patrick's Day parade (it's a big deal in Chicago)... show more

  • Can a Teacher Get Fired for Posting Pics Online Asking if She's Hot?

There was a picture of her in a red dress and black boots, a selfie in her apartment. She is 27. Is this setting a bad example for students? I don't know what the odds are that I stumbled across this but I did!!!! also, could it have been someone else besides her?

I've also read a bunch of articles that say most new teachers quit within 5 years.

She ended up calling on me to read and answer and I was squinting trying to read the overhead, because the numbers were so small. I told me teacher I could not see it. She then got what seemed irritated and shouted you need glasses in front of the whole classroom and the whole class ended up looking at me. I am embarrassed, what should I do?

I’m 14 and I’m in algebra 1. I understand it and it’s very easy and I’m good at it too. In class my teacher will usually teach us something new and we will do a worksheet together. The next day we will do practice problems of what we did the day before and the teacher will walk around and help the people who need help. I sit with my one friend and she’s good at it too. We usually get done the worksheet like 20 minutes before class ends and usually the first ones done. The teacher asks us to go around and help other students and I like helping other students it’s just I can never put it into words to make sense for them. Like I know how to do it and I do most of it in my head but explaining it to people it so difficult to me. I feel so bad when I’m trying to explain it to someone but when I’m talking I don’t even understand what I’m trying to say. How can I help this? Idk if I can but if there’s a way I would want to because I like knowing that i actually helped someone understand it better

Don't be the tree hugger type that thinks everything is all going to be sunshine and Roses if you bring it up to them or anyone else.
Make sure they are fine and that you are there to talk or support them.
Just be aware, you pulling them up or talking about it can also set them off.

Me personally (if I was a teacher) as a SH'er, I would just make sure they are ok and they have a free space to talk without judgment or for them not to worry of other people knowing.
If they don't appreciate your concern don't take offence to their 'over' reaction, don't deal with an outburst with logic, they are running on emotion, logic/rational thinking is out the window at this point let them calm first.
At the end of the day, it is very personal and they are emotionally unstable and vulnerable.

Best answer: Whether you should say anything or not depends on how you feel about the possible consequences. The "interrupter" is obviously not going to be very receptive to your "correction," and you will most likely make an enemy of the guy. If that fact doesn't bother you, and if your level of irritation is so great that you cannot let the interruptions pass, then you know what to do. If, on the other hand, you feel that you have enough enemies in your life, a smart move would be to discuss your feelings with the lecturer personally, in private. The lecturer may be hesitant to "shut the interrupter down" because there is no evidence that the interruptions are bothering anyone, and the lecturer doesn't want to come off as rude or arrogant. Backed by proof that the interruptions are a distraction, the lecturer may feel more inclined, politely but firmly, to discourage the problematic behavior.
