I've tried eating less and took some pain medicine, but they are still a little swollen with pain and I still can't bite down all the way on food to actually chew correctly. What can I do before going to the dentist, as I am not available to go anytime soon.

I had a dentist appt for him last month. She said good job on cleaning his teeth and didn’t say anything bad about them. So he’s asleep right now and I just went into his bedroom to check on him and his mouth is open. He usually sleeps through his mouth not his nose. And I went to give him a kiss and noticed on his two front teeth, there are chalky white streaks on them going across (his teeth were dry, no salvia extremely dry from mouth being open) . He then turned and shut his mouth and I waited 2 minutes to look again, and these chalky white patches weren’t there anymore and his salvia was back on his teeth, wetness. What was this? I’m obsessed with his teeth so I hope it isn’t a sign of decay or something. Could it just be because his teeth were dry? Thanks

  • Is getting a root canal painful?

Best answer: I've had two. I have problems with dental freezing. One hurt a lot, but, the other did not at all.

There was some discomfort when the freezing wore off though.
