• Do my carburetors on my motorcycle need to be cleaned or replaced?

I have a brand new bike that's been sitting at my shed for about 6 years. The idle speed seems to be too low because sometimes it stalls when I go on very low speeds. Although it only has 50 miles on it, does the carburetors need to be cleaned or replaced? Or do I simply use the idle speed adjustment?

The problem will be in the choke control system (surprise, surprise). The choke lever not only closes the choke butterfly but also raises the idle. Usually this is a small screw on the choke lever pressing onto the throttle butterfly actuator.. Not to be confused with the idle speed screw which is usually threaded through a boss on the carby body (or pressing on a cast boss).
It is quite likely that someone has used the screw on the choke linkage to set idle speed.
As I wrote get the manual, read it, look at what you ve got & set it up correctly.

Just Google Piaggio MP3 and you'll see what I'm talking about. Hope this helps. :)

Says deputy can't ticket him because he wasn't going over limit, when license plate restriction pointed out say he bought it able to do 40 mph plus, seller had told him it could because seller had removed the shorting out at 30 mph control ignition box- was in the helmet tray. Tell deputy that MV1 form filled out as former registration , knew it was different class now? did rider know he should have gotten motorcycle endorsement on his basic drivers license? I don't need one because former owner didn't have one was response. No drivers license for vehicle class, improper/false registration/license plates, document fraud for state document, false application , no proof of insurance for motorvehicle requiring insurance specific to vehicle ('Mopeds' are/were 'financial responsibility' and at the time could be covered under renters/homeowners/ general liability). Cash bond to meet likely forfeiture required by police to get out of jail driver license violations- or see magistrate monday morning for Individual recognisance bond. splice wire back together or get proper control 'box' and obey speed laws for your drivers license and registration class- or carry bond money..

  • Is it ok if I do MOST of the brake fluid change on my motorcycle?

Best answer: Bleed until FRESH fluid comes out. Do not bother with the brake fluid bottle. It will be bad when it is time to change the fluid again. You can give it to a friend but it must be used immediately.

  • Whats wrong with my gsxr 600?

My battery for some reason is not charging when the motorcycle is in operation. I have changed the Stator and I have changed the Regulator Rectifier. Its still not charging. A its doing is draining the battery voltage from 12 to no cranking voltage. Completely out.

  • Why are motorcycles louder than cars?

I don't know anything about how cars or motorcycles work, but it just seems weird that motorcycles are always screaming through the street as loud as the beaches of Normandy, and cars, which are much bigger (and presumably would require much more force to move) don't make anywhere close to as much noise.

  • What is the average cost for motorcycle insurance? (please look details below)?

Best answer: We don't even know which country you live in.

And even if we did we couldn't give anything other than a wild guess.

Get online and on the phone, get quotes and compare the amount of excess and coverage you get. Then pick the best option for you.

Pretty much the whole United States (Excluding California).

Aye, Yankees are a genius! Or at least that's what they like to think.

Anyways, I do it all the time here, across the pond. In fact; I've two motorcycles right now and I'd sell them and buy a car and a bicycle the moment our government declare lane splitting as illegal.

Not much point or sense in riding otherwise.

But... Yankees are Yankees. They think it save lives or something.

No wonder Trump De Chump rule The United States of America!
