  • How do YOU slow down on a motorcycle?

Best answer: I shift one gear at a time. Unless I have to stop in a hurry, then I do it the other way.

  • Next motorcycle after ninja 250?

Best answer: If you like going crazy fast, a sport 600 four cylinder is the go. Bear in mind they can be kept below 100mph but they really, really don't belong there. If you want something less manic, consider a 650 Ninja, the twin cylinder.. It's basically a grown up 250 Ninj. Easy to ride at any speed and not much... show more

If you want something less manic, consider a 650 Ninja, the twin cylinder.. It's basically a grown up 250 Ninj. Easy to ride at any speed and not much more size and weight than you're used to. The two most common issues I see with noob riders upgrading is underestimating i) how much heavier the bigger bike is (= low speed drops) and ii) how much more quickly they build up speed (= arriving places far too quickly).
In terms of age, go by condition rather than year. Anything built by the Japanese is going to be OK at least back to the mid-nineties, though I would go no older than 10-12 years, just because.

I bought a bike at a dealership and they told me I got approved through a bank. I didn’t take the bike off the lot because I needed insurance but the bank ended up not approving. Can I back out of the deal. I’m in Washington

This seems very high or is it about right ??

  • NYC Police Motorcycle Checkpoint?

Best answer: The problem comes when an old lady backs over your bike in a parking lot or if someone runs in to you at an intersection. Without the class M endorsement insurance companies will deny any claim and throw it out.

As for running checkpoints, they take pictures...

  • Putting an electric start on a 2009 KTM 250sxf?

I want to put an electric start on this bike because I live in a cold state and it sucks starting. But considering it's a race bike, it doesn't have a battery. Is there a way to install an electric start on it?
