• Can I delete a question I asked in yahoo answers? Plz tell me how if it is possible?

Best answer: If i'm not mistaken you can't delete questions yourself. they could get flagged and taken down, or if no one has answered the question after seven days i believe yahoo takes it down themselves but you can't take it down

  • Is it fair for Yahoo answers to suspend an account without giving the user the reason the account was suspended?

I can't very well appeal it if I have no idea what the suspension was for.

  • If you have a bunch of accounts, will Yahoo know about it?

Best answer: You can have "a bunch of accounts" and they won't care UNLESS they interact with each other. Ask a question with Account #1, answer with Account #2, award "Best Answer" with Account #1 -- you might get away with it once or twice, but Yahoo knows who you are and could close ALL of your accounts. show more

  • Am not receiving answers to my questions on Yahoo! Why?

Best answer: You are asking good questions in the right categories. Unfortunately, few members go to those categories. Sorry.

  • Why the BLOODY HELL does it keep saying "sorry we couldn't post your question right now"?!?

Best answer: Glitch. Keep hitting submit and usually on the 3rd try for me, the message then changes to "you have already answered this question" when I didn't even know it was posted. Keep trying, it'll eventually work.

  • How do you level up on yahoo answers?

  • I just made level 4 but I don't like the question format--can I get it changed or go back to level 3?

Best answer: Ask enough questions and you will go back to level 3, but the question format will not change. Each question still costs 5 points, no matter what the YA format is. The green format is history, and NONE KNOWS what Verizon is going to do..

  • How does yahoo determine which accounts get suspended?

Best answer: None of us know how Many have to report or how high of a trust rating a member has to have in order for an abuser's account to be suspended. Not too long ago, I could send in the URL's & a few vios as evidence to the YAT & said abuser/s would be
suspended Very fast! But that's when an actual 'warm body' named Lou looked at My emails and punished the abusive account/s accordingly. Accounts are still getting suspended for Any number of reasons, but Lou is gone and I've NOT received a "thank you" email from the YAT in almost a year.
Seeing as ALL said abuser needs to do is make another account - suspensions are Nothing more than a smack on the hand, a loss of worthless points which makes the effort of the reporter/s a waste of time unless said abuser/s change Their violating ways. To be honest - I've NEVER seen that happen.

  • Why has my question been removed and I gained 50 points?

I have posted a question that does not disobey any rule but I am surprised that it was gone after it reached 100+ and I have got 50 points instead. Why has this happened?

  • Why does it say I have less answers than I do?

It was over 1,000 and now it's saying it's only 993. I didn't lose any points. This isn't the first time this has happened.

  • Can people enlighten me to why people have to report perfectly fine questions when they can just scroll past?

shouldnt everyone have the right to ask questions without having them deleted even though there's nothing wrong with the question?

  • If im being reported but not getting any email notifications do the violations still count? ive had many this week but cant appeal.?

Best answer: Your receiving any notices is 100% immaterial. If you are flagged for a violation, then you are stuck. It's really that simple.

Appeal if you receive a notice, if you don't receive one, oh oh well. Another Indian-Yahoo glitch...take it up with Yahoo.
