• How do I press charges for abuse?

I’ve been being abused verbally and physically sense I was a child by my older sister. I want to press charges if it’s possible. At the least I want a restraining order, how do I do it?

Soooo, yes it's me again. Suppose you were all at the edge of your seats eager to know what happened to poor little receptionist Joel. Don't worry, Joel was eventually freed up although he ended up in hospital with a few leg injuries but nothing too serious. I suppose I just have to thank my lucky starts that he used to do ballet which meant he was pretty flexible anyway. Well, dear oh dear, since it's only been my second day as a police officer... again, things ermmm actually haven't gone to plan. I set off the fire alarm at the police station because - oh you think there was a fire? No! Silly you. I just wanted to push the glass to see how it actually worked because I have never needed to break the glass on a fire alarm system before. So as you might have already guessed, this did not go down well with my boss. I explained to him that I was thinking of actually setting fire to the police station so there would atleast be a good enough reason to push the fire alarm glass - he just put his hand into his face and shook his head in disapproval. "Oh Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy," he said, "when are you going to learn that this is a very serious and important job?" I am not sure what is going to happen to me next, what do you think will happen to me now?

I chose to withdraw $200 in ten dollar bills, but instead it spit out twenty $20 dollar bills, giving me $400. I checked my online banking on my phone, and my checking statement shows the $200 withdrawal I was attempting to make. I did make note of the bank, PNC. But I was wondering, what if I don't contact them about the extra $200 the machine gave me? Is there any way they would be able to come after me for extra money that came from a truck stop ATM in an entirely different State from where I live? What are the odds I'll ever hear from them?

  • Do shots of straight vodka have a stronger impact on you than mixing it with coke?

Best answer: Carbonation is rumored to speed up digestion.

So it could get it going faster.

However by volume, the same is the same.

then factor in how dehydrated you are. Like banana chips.

  • If someone committed a serious crime as a juvenile and was later captured as an adult, how would he be tried?

Example: A 13 year old burglarizes a house, and shoots dead an occupant. Police have evidence but no suspects. Later at 21, he is arrested for a felony, his DNA taken, and it hits a match to DNA evidence left at the murder scene.  How would he be tried being that he was a minor at the time of the crime, yet... show more

  • What would happen if I went to the cops and “confessed” to a crime that didn’t really happen?

Best answer: There would be some level of investigation, but they won't even hold you without SOME evidence beyond your confession. I don't claim to understand why, but there are people that confess to murders that never happened. Contrary to some other answers, your WOULD NOT be charged with filing a false report... show more

Contrary to some other answers, your WOULD NOT be charged with filing a false report 99.99% of the time. That would be giving people that falsely confess exactly what they want.

  • If a car is illegally parked in my driveway can I legally block the car until the tow truck comes ?

Best answer: You didn't block the car. You legally parked in your own driveway. The fact there isn't room to drive around you isn't your fault. That said, you should contact the police to make sure you can legally have the car towed first. If nothing else, it reduces the hassle should the owner report the car... show more

  • The police refuse to assist with my parents breaking into my house. What should I do?

I've changed the locks, they don't have my security code. I've filed police reports. The police seem to just think it is ok for them to break in. Now the city is trying to fine me for a "false alarm" after my parents broke in.

I have been trying to figure out how a security camera's work. When they set to record and such. We rent a duplex where the landlord has a few security cameras around back area. My eight year old daughter loves to wear cute dresses on the weekends that are short. She misbehaved and received a spanking in the house yesterday.. The landlord I don't know well yet and am being paranoid cause he said to Taylor that she looked cute playing outside. Nervous cause Taylors sheer white undies showed underneath. Yesteday Taylor was across my lap and with her dress raised where her underpants showed. I had been spanking for a half minute or so when I noticed there was a security camera near by and the red light blinking Does this mean the camera is recording? Can our landlord turn this on and is this illegal? Worse is if this is a camera could record my daughter getting a panty spanking?

The media always shows the corrupt officers, but in all reality those officers are extremely rare (the media puts a microscope on them though so they seem common). There will always be some corrupt officers just like there will always be corrupt doctors, judges, etc. Those few corrupt officers have given all police officers bad reputations and it seems like no matter how professional they act, how nice they are, or how many lives they save, people still hate them and fear them. The police have no control over the media and how they twist what happened for better headlines, so what can individual officers do to make the community think of them in a better way? I’ve watched citizens treat the kindest police officers like **** for just doing their jobs and it needs to stop. That wears them down over time- no one wants to be a police officer anymore because they know everyone will automatically hate them and disrespect them while they are putting their lives on the line for them.

My mom and I were at my gradfather's house and noticed his two cars missing, I asked my grandfather about it and he said the power of attorney was having them cleaned. After my grandfather passed away the two cars were never returned. Can the power of attorney be charged with a felony? We have another lawyer on as trustee and he has not been of any help to us and he knew what was going on.
