• Are tattoos really that bad when it comes to getting a job?

Anyways, I’ve always liked the way tattoos look. I don’t like when tattoos are just there like if you have one tattoo on your bicep, one on your chest, one on your forearm etc. I think sleeves and stuff look the best. The problem is everybody says it’s more difficult to get a job when you have tattoos, which is kinda understandable. Let’s say I wanted to be a doctor or something, how will tattoos effect my chances of being employed compared to a “normal” person with the same credentials?

  • How can I memorialize my abortion?

I don't want to forget it though, because it was a hard decision and I want to use it as a way to change my life so next time I'm pregnant, there's no question that I will be ready to have a baby. I don't want to forget it though, because it was a hard decision and I want to use it as a way to change my life so next time I'm pregnant, there's no question that I will be ready to have a baby. I thought of getting a tattoo, something small and personal, and something no one will know what it's for. I also thought about getting or making some sort of charm or getting a piece of jewelry. Some may think this is odd, but please no personal opinions or lectures. I'm just looking for some ideas and maybe personal experiences. Thanks!

  • Can you drink a day after a new tatttoo?

Best answer: I've had drinks 10 minutes after I've gotten tattooed. It depends on the person and how much ink they've gotten in one session. I wouldn't have been able to do it after my bigger pieces, but after my little ones? I crack open some wine as soon as I'm home and it's never been an issue.... show more

The only rule I stick by is not getting inked when you are actually drunk.

Im washing it with dial antibacterial soap in the morning and at night and then using lubriderm but even when i put lotion on it, it doesnt look like its helping the dryness at all? and when im at work it gets annoying so i bought a bottle of lotion with me and i dont want to over moisturize but i also dont want it to get really dryed out. right now im trying to sleep but its just itchy/uncomfortable and i just had to put on some aquaphor on it bc the lotion doesnt do anything. the aquaphor seems to work better than the lotion. It just looks so wrinkly/cracked and it even looks like a little skin cracked open at a part of it. i am moving my arm constantly work, would that cause this wrinkly look? idk if this is just the scab or whats happening. anyone help?

My mom though, she seems to have the idea that one should wait substantially longer before getting tattooed even though she and my father both were tattooed at younget ages. My tattoo will be on my forearm, just below my elbow, and I m wondering if any of you have some tips so I can hide the tattoo until a little after my birthday, just to give the impression of a longer wait period.

  • Should I refrain from getting tattoos because I want to be a teacher?

Best answer: As long as they are not offensive, you should be fine. I have several visible tattoos, and I am a teacher.

I see most people with green tattoos. Is my black one gonna turn green over time? In google it said that India ink isn't used anymore. They said that India ink is the one that turns green over time.

Gratuities are, by definition, not mandatory, so despite this shop's wording they are just charging $20 for a tattoo....which is likely their minimum price for tiny tattoos anyway. Base your tip on how well the artist met your expectations, answered your questions, and how comfortable they made you feel. While it may often be rude to not tip in some situations you are never required to tip, and if you don't feel you got more than $20 of effort you aren't required to tip anything on top of that, but most often you'll want to as a show of appreciation of the artist's work.
