  • Does this sound like a real call from the IRS or a scam?!?

Just got a call I didn't answer, but heard the voicemail of. It was a wireless caller. An automated sounding voice said it was the IRS and that a warrant out for your arrest because you didn't pay income taxes that were higher than they were supposed to be. When I looked it up it sounds like they don't do stuff like this, but I really want to be sure. If the call was real it was for my dad or grandma. Thanks.

Best answer: Normally a mortgage company would only be affiliated with an insurance company , the same as they are affiliated with an appraisal company, a title company or escrow company or a home inspection company.

These type companies help facilitate the closing of the sale transaction.Over time each company become able to rely on the services produced by each other and would form a close business relationship.

You are under no obligations to use any of these firms. You are able to secure the services of any other service provider you would want to use. If you decide to use a different appraiser, the appraiser you decide to use must be licensed in the state, where you are purchasing the house and on the approved list of appraisers.

You have to make a decision about this insurance sales person

#1. Sit down and listen to his pitch and see if you are able to financially benefit by using his services.

#2. Tell this salesman, he is pestering, harassing and annoying you. You are not interested in his services and to stop calling you immediately.

You have to be more assertive toward salesmen. They are taught to accept no at least 3-4 times before they would no longer bother you in an attempt to get you to purchase or use their services.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

I am a 20 year old full time medical college student. I started my clinicals this semester as well as online class. With that being said, I have no time outside of school to have a job and my parents never pushed for me to get one as long as I was in school they said they would provide. My parents divorced when I was 17 and it was agreed upon that my dad would carry out medical insurance as long as we were enrolled in school and under 26 years of age. Last fall I ended up severely breaking my foot and got medical attention. The bills came in the mail and my father threw them at me and said he wasn’t going to pay them. By that time they had fallen into collections and onto my credit history. I have received several phone calls from collections and the agents were extremely rude, asking why I received medical attention if I could not pay. My question is, who is responsible for paying the bills, my father (who carries our medical insurance) or me?

I have a question about a tenants right, renting a home. I'm located in AZ and rented the 2nd story of a home. The lady I rented it from lives upstairs. I have my own living quarters so there is no reason for her to be down in my part of the house. She is evicting me from the home, I have to out by the end of June. But, we have no rentals agreement, after she said she was going to get one. She told me she is going to fix the window in my kitchen because it leaks, hasn't been fixed. She told me I get a spot to park my vehicle in the garage, haven't been able too. She comes into my part of the house with notifying me. I told her my dishwasher stopped working, she blamed it on me saying," I don't rinse of my dishes before I put it in the dishwasher." Which I do rinse them off. And now she told me in person that I need to be out by the end of june because "the house wasn't clean enough." What legal action should I take, or should I not even take action? Should I pay rent for the month of June?

In short, I hate my job! The company has been going down the tubes for the last 5-6 years, layoffs left and right, people getting fired left and right--you get my drift. The demands are getting heavier, but no one is being paid more money. Since I saw the writing on the wall years ago, I decided to be proactive, go back to school and get an advanced degree. I graduate next Wednesday (Go me). I already secured a new job for Aug 2018 (I work in Education--Go Me!). Honestly, I was going to try to stick it out until 2 weeks before I report to my NEW job, but unfortunately, the company I currently work for decided to write me up after 14 years (how does one go from being a stellar employee to a bad one in 8 month?--its bullshit) and told me I have 60 days to turn around my performance or I would be on an extended corrective action or be fired. In short, I hate being there ever since the write up. Quite frankly, I hate going into the place knowing I have a new job. Not gonna even lie. In fact, I think my performance has probably gone down even more since I know I have a new job. That being said, I've saved and could either quit or let them fire me and wouldn't miss a beat. My real question is: The 60 days is almost up, I'm tired of going in there, do I just resign or let them clip me?For them being an asshole, Id much rather them fire me so I could use their unemployment while I sip margaritas on the beach all summer ---not gonna even lie. What do you think?
