• Can I drive a car 12,000 miles without an oil change?

Best answer: It depends on the "health" of your car, the conditions in which you drive, and the type of oil you used for the last oil change.
Personally, I think getting oil changed regularly is a lot cheaper than a repair that is needed because you tried to cheap out on the oil changes.

I recently got my first ever traffic ticket because of an illegal u-turn. It’s been days and I haven’t told my parents. I’m 18 turning 19 next month and have been driving since I got my permit in 2016 and received my license in Jan of 2017. I don’t have my own car because I’ve been driving my mom’s car that she rarely uses. When I got pulled over the officer just asked for my license and not my registration/ insurance. Although, in the past, my dad has shown me where that was in case I ever needed it. I have a few options and I’m not willing to do anything else. My first option was to take the Driver’s Safety Course (DSC) online and get my ticket dismissed. The only problem I have here is that I’ve gone through several papers of my family’s auto insurance and don’t see my name under anything. You need to be insured to take this program but I don’t think I am. My parents have Farmer’s and I’ve read the policy and it says anyone who has the insured’s permission to drive their car is protected?? I really don’t know. I wouldn’t know what paper to submit on my application under “Current Auto Liability Policy” either. I want to say that I’m listed as a person who can drive the cars that are insured but like I said I couldn’t find my name anywhere!!! I want to do this choice because this ticket will get dismissed and no longer be on my record. SEE CONTINUED!!

Why we must use a flamable (dangerous) substance such as oil, and not use, say, water, or other substance, to power the plane?

I’ve had my car since March 2018 and most of the time I’ve had it, my boyfriend would fill up my gas but yesterday I was rushing after I got off work and had to go get my hair done. Went to the gas station because I had a little less than halfway left on gas. I thought for sure you put diesel in regular cars. So I put it in there till it was full and after I was done, I started the car and headed to my hair appointment...like 5-7 mins later, just up the street from the gas station, my car shut off. I tried to restart it but it would not start back up. It would make the sound like it was going to start up but didn’t. So I got a tow truck and he took me and my car to my local dealership. Unfortunately the service department was closed for the day but I still got to talk to someone and he told me that if my spark plugs needed replacing and all that stuff my estimate would be a little over $600. I wanted to just stab myself. Well my question is, based on what I told you, how much damage could I have done to my car? It’s a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback. Has about 4000 miles on it

If I have comprehensive and collision insurance, and report this vehicle as flooded to the insurance company, what happens? In general, is it good idea to report it?

  • My check engine light was flashing yesterday and now it's off, and today my red oil change light was flashing earlier and then stopped?!?

What does that mean? I drive a Honda Accord, if that helps. My car is driving fine (just a slight jerking every now and then, but that's another issue i'll get fixed). The fact that it did that then stopped worries me...help?!

  • Can i sell my car with 200k miles on it?

Best answer: Sure you can. You can sell anything you like or want as long as you have that title. You might find a sucker, or i mean some fool, uh i means some potential buyer. As long as you are not over priced and be realistic abt how much you want.

hi! so my check engine light came on about a week ago and the same day i took it by autozone to have them run a diagnostic test on it. it came back saying i needed a gas cap, so i replaced the gas cap and left. i drove it around for the next half hour or so and the light still hadn’t turned off. the next day it still wasn’t off so i went back to autozone to have them look at it again. he explained to me that every car has a “drive cycle” and i would need to drive it several miles before it would turn off. 2 days ago i drove it on a 45-minute drive and it turned off about 35 minutes into the drive and it stayed off until this morning when i was on my way to work. it just randomly turned back on. normally i wouldn’t really care as long as my car was driving alright, but i live in tennessee and to re-register your car every year, you have to go through emissions. i’m assuming if my check engine light stays on it won’t pass emissions, and i have to re-register by the end of this month🙃 just for clarification it’s a 2007 nissan altima, and it has 221,000 miles. any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you!
