I bought a toothpaste with baking soda in it. It is a teeth whitening toothpaste. I was just wondering if this is safe or can it harm me in any way? Also, if anybody knows, is this method effective at teeth whitening. Thank you!

Why do I have fang shaped teeth, I like them but why do I have them?

Okay, this is very embarrassing to say, but is there any way for me to whiten my very yellow teeth. I am 16 and my parents neglected to tell me to brush my teeth as a child and I can't seem to get into the habit. Because of the dark yellow colour, I'm so embarrassed to smile around people and I avoid telling jokes that make me laugh too. My teeth are ruining my self esteem and confidence. Obviously I need to go to a dentist, but I can't afford it. So, I there any way to whiten my teeth with damaging it?

  • Having more gunk come out when flossing normal with age?

I’ve been strict about flossing for years, had braces, get my profesional cleaning twice a year. However, I’ve noticed that lately when I floss more gunk comes out than before. What’s going on? Could flossing all these years actually make for a bigger space between teeth and be doing more harm?

To make a long story short, I have two decaying teeth on both sides of my mouth that I ve put off too long because of no insurance. One doesn t give me any trouble, but the other one I can tell is severely decayed and lately I ve been feeling worse than I ever have. The pain isn t constant, but when it hurts, it s so severe that I can t even open my mouth. I ve had a lot of plain in my throat/neck area (but I ve also had a cold so I don t know if it s from that) and fatigue. Slight sensitivity to food temperatures. Headaches, but no fever, and no nausea. It hurts to touch the tooth. There s no bump above either one of the decayed teeth, but I m still afraid it s infected. I m trying to get it pulled within the next few weeks but I m afraid I ll die before then?
