  • Can Veganism become an addiction?

Best answer: It’s not a compulsion as an addiction is, but rather a habit and lifestyle they find satisfactory.

  • What is the most ridiculous excuse people have given you for why they can't go vegan?

Best answer: "I like my leather shoes"
"I like my shampoo / toothpaste which is tested on monkeys"
    "I like my leather chairs"
"I sometimes take painkillers which have been tested on animals"
But off course, as we all know, none of the above applies to vegans, right?

  • Vegans, do you apply your principles equally to human life?

For example you would prefer for a chicken not to be born at all than live a cruel short life in a small crate before a traumatic death for food. Would you also prefer that humans who are destined to by confined to a hospital bed or wheelchair and likely to die a painful death were not allowed to be born in the... show more

  • How long do I cook this in SLOW-COOKER? Nobody has answered?

Best answer: Low heat for 4 hrs should be plenty, everything in there is already cooked except the potatoes and other fresh veggies. You could leave it up to 6 hrs but it would be done at 4. I prefer the low setting and a longer time rather than the high setting. The whole point of a slow cooker is cooking low and slow.

It's not necessarily the businesses fault, they're constructed to do that. In business, money is the number one objective.

It's the system that we've created that promotes the idea of harming others for money. It doesn't even take a bad person to do it, either. Sometimes it's either poach elephants or die in poverty. Being an elephant poacher isn't a nice life, most of them are probably doing it to survive or support their families.

This entire capitalist system is a tragedy. We have more than enough resources to feed and house the world but we refuse to do it. And it hurts the vulnerable the most. That being the poor, the children and animals/wildlife.
