Double standard dress code?
In my job, sneakers, sandals and tank tops are banned. (I work in a bookstore). However, I notice that several of my female employees dress in that fashion but the management never get in trouble. I thought it would only be fair if I wore sneakers too but when I did yesterday, I got scolded by the manager while those who wore flip flops didn't.
I just think that is a double standard. I noticed that people who are in their 30's and less curvy can wear whatever they want while someone who is younger and have more curves cannot. I'm just wondering what could be the possible reason.
