I don't understand why I'm losing weight so slowly?

I recently started weight watchers about a month ago.. I've cut out all pop, and I also have been exercising. I've went from 239 pounds to 233 which might seem decent but that's not good enough for me. As over weight as I am I should be losing more than one-two pounds a week. I understand that's normal and average but it's not at first. Could it be bc I'm not drinking enough water or could it be that I'm gaining muscle from focus t 25?

I'm not gonna give up but I'm just really really discouraged.
Also weight watchers is all about eating what you want but just counting the points. So I've been sticking very strictly to that. But if I want fries. I'll eat them. I'll just count the points. I'm wondering if weight watchers is a scam and it it's impossible to eat whatever u want and still lose weight bc it seems too easy
