Milk is good for your teeth?

I went dairy free for over a year now but I'm not vegetarian and I'm not getting original vitamin D from cows milk or eggs. I drink coconut milk, almond milk but I stopped hemp milk long time ago, after a long time of being dairy free I've noticed that my teeth gums will be protruding if I go a few days without any vitamin D almond milk or coconut milk cos that's my alternative. I looked up the symptoms on Google and says the long untreated version is called gum disease. So if I was homeless and had no access to food, things to brush teeth I can develop this problem with my mouth after a long while. I mean anything could happen, just like some old lady told me that it's good to fast then when your body gets used to going without food a few times a year then you can protect yourself like imagine being stranded in the middle of nowhere no food, no water, no one and nothing and you will die of starvation or dehydration less quickly. Fasting is good for you for a number of other reasons. So if people are saying milk is actually good for your teeth, but some people are saying milk is mainly for kids and baby calves, which one to believe?
