Not just keep my hands warm, but keeps my hands dry & protect plus MORE.
Wear gloves for everything you do: paper - filled with toxic, prevent getting paper cuts. Ouch! Chores in the kitchen, garden, around the house - chemicals and dirt plus sun exposures can age the hands. During fall, winter & spring, wear leather gloves lined with thinsulate, to protect you from the environment. That's why people who play baseballs, sailors & golfers wear them! Race car drivers wear them too!
Carry one everywhere you go a disposable gloves so you don't have to keep washing your hands, protects you from germs and from opening doors, or using the public restrooms, too! My leather gloves are worn throughout the airport, when I'm traveling, going up the escalator, or steps, pulling luggage to prevent chaffing.
Washing too often with hot water, causes 'dishpan' hands. The use of Antibacterial soap, is also drying to the hands, they're chemicals we don't really NEED, and I've seen warnings about them, around foods. I've shaken men/women's hands, and they have dishpan hands!
Wearing gloves keeps my skin baby soft, and also prevent them from being exposed to the sun, avoiding getting moles or freckles age spts or liver spots specially if they've been exposed to the sun.
