If someone says they hate cats do you automatically have a bad opinion of them?

Cats are the best pets in the world. So lovable and cute and so easy to look after. Anyone who says they hate cats must be a monster. Do you agree?

I do question them. I mean, I've had at least.. 10 cats over the years? I've always loved cats. I come from an area where dogs are much more popular though. If I even MENTION that I have a cat at school, people start bashing me. Saying dogs are better, to which I have to explain, I have two dogs, as well as three cats. So, maybe it's just cause of the people I've grown up around. But I do judge people based on their opinion of cats.

My wife & I have had a lot of cats..Some of them, I absolutely love..Some I found very amusing.. Some were just plain nasty & I tolerated them, but I didn't really like them

Why don't you take your liberal logic and shove it up your ***? Cats are attractive animals, but that doesn't make them likeable. Using the word "monster" in this instance is so ******* inane, it makes the word irrelevant.

Not really. I'm used to all the cat hate, as most cat lovers are.

Honestly, 3/4 of the people that "hate" cats thinks that sounds better than just admitting they're allergic and the other 1/4 just don't want to take the time to understand cats. Oh well. More cats for us!!!

Well... not exactly. I absolutely adore cats, don't get me wrong. But I don't feel you should judge someone based on if they hate cats or not. Like for me, I prefer dogs over cats, but that's mostly because I have pet allergies and they are less bad with dogs. It is a matter of opinion, and I don't think just because someone hates cats, they are a horrible person.

No, having cats doesn't make you evil and disliking cats doesn't make you evil either, ownership of cats or non-ownership has nothing to do with being evil.

Best Answer: yes-I do--I admit it. I assume they have a huge problem with themselves and can't stand the scrutiny of a cat. They are deeply afraid of someone knowing who they are--because cats know, they always know.
